Founded in 2006, the Sharjah Urban Planning Council was formed in 2014, by virtue of the Amiri Decree No. 5 issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.The creation of SUPC builds on the efforts to keep pace with the overall socio-economic development of Sharjah.
